The country's most established regional golf event continues to forward to Staffield Country Resort in Negeri Sembilan on June 22 and Monterez Golf & Country Club on June 29. As the weather gets hotter, so were the results.

A total of 105 golfers played in perfect conditions befitting the tournament's rich tradition of good weather; completed the Modified System 36 Stableford format to be winners in two divisions.

In the A Medal category which opens for handicap 0-16, Zainuddi Ahmad (5) grabbed 40 points to topple the field for a guaranteed spot in the grand final by passing five players who survived identical 37 points. In a battle of count back, YB Rahmat Musa (12) was acclaimed the runner-up, while Mohd Azhar Awang (14), Roslan Harun, Lee Swee Sun (15) and Dylan Liew (10) were placed...
